Privacy Policy
At Organicer, we respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information in a transparent, responsible way. This Privacy Policy explains, at a high level, how information may be collected, used, and protected when you use our website or services.
Who We Are
Organicer is operated by Organicer Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16970538). Organicer Ltd is the data controller for the Organicer iOS app, Android app, and web app (organicer.app), and operates this website (organicer.co.uk). We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference ZC156057.
Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use the site and services, we may collect limited information, including:
- Account-related information if you choose to register or log in
- Basic contact details you provide when getting in touch
- Usage and interaction data to help us understand how the site is used
- Technical information such as device type, browser, and pages visited
We aim to collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the service.
How We Use Information
Information may be used to:
- Provide and operate the Organicer service
- Respond to enquiries or support requests
- Improve functionality, content, and user experience
- Monitor performance and reliability
- Meet legal or regulatory obligations where applicable
Payments and Subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased via the iOS app are processed by Apple (App Store); via the Android app by Google (Google Play); and via the web by Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your card details: those are handled directly by Apple, Google, or Stripe under their own policies. We only receive the information needed to record your subscription status (e.g. plan, renewal date, cancellation state).
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared only where necessary with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, or where required by law. The processors we rely on include:
- Apple — App Store subscription billing and delivery
- Google — Google Play subscription billing; Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications); Crashlytics (crash diagnostics)
- Stripe — web subscription billing
- Postmark — transactional email delivery (e.g. welcome and password reset)
Each processor handles information under their own privacy practices.
Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. No system is entirely secure, but we aim to apply appropriate safeguards.
Data Retention
We retain account information and the data associated with it for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we'll remove it within a reasonable period — typically within thirty days — except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your Rights
You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@organicer.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
